Physical therapy that works with your biology, not against it
Most physical therapy stops at exercise. Ours starts there and keeps going. At TheraStem, physical therapy is delivered alongside regenerative medicine, peptide therapy and IV nutrition, so the tissue heals while the movement is rebuilt and the results hold.
No referral required. Under Florida’s direct-access law, you can be evaluated and start treatment without a physician’s referral. We accept traditional Medicare and select PPO plans for physical therapy.
You’ve probably done PT before. Here’s why it didn’t hold.
Traditional physical therapy is built around visit counts and insurance authorizations. It can restore range of motion, but it doesn’t address why the tissue is degenerating, why the inflammation keeps coming back, or why you’re recovering slower than you used to. We built our program to close that gap.
Therapy on its own
About 30 minutes, a shared gym floor and a protocol written for the average patient. Treatment ends when the authorization does.
Therapy at TheraStem
Injured tissue gets regenerative treatment. The mechanics that caused the injury get corrected. Inflammation, nutrient depletion, poor sleep and slow recovery get addressed directly.
How we combine care
Three layers. One plan.
Repair
Physician-directed regenerative therapies target the injured or degenerative tissue at its source, treating what’s structurally driving your pain instead of masking it.
Rebuild
One-on-one physical therapy with a licensed therapist restores strength, mobility and mechanics around the treated area, so the repair is protected and the injury is less likely to come back.
Optimize
Peptide protocols and IV nutrition support what healing depends on: tissue repair signaling, inflammation control and the nutrients your body needs to rebuild.
Each layer makes the others work better
Regenerative treatment without loading and progression leaves tissue under-conditioned. Therapy that ignores the underlying problem often means treating the same issue again a year later. We don’t separate them, because your body doesn’t.
Physical therapy also works on its own, and many patients start there.

Who this is for
Is physical therapy at TheraStem right for you?
You’ve been told your options are medication, injections or surgery
We work in the space between, for patients who want to try every non-surgical option first or who aren’t surgical candidates at all.
You’re recovering from surgery and want more than the minimum
Insurance-driven rehab ends when the authorization ends. Our programs end when you’ve reached your goal.
You’re active and want to stay that way
Golf, tennis, pickleball, running, lifting, boating. The goal is to move well, stay strong and keep doing what you love without giving pieces of it up.
What your first visit looks like
1. Evaluation
A thorough, unhurried assessment of how you move, where it hurts and what’s actually driving it, before any protocol is chosen.
2. Plan
We map the right mix of therapy, regenerative treatment and systemic support for your problem, and tell you what a realistic timeline looks like.
3. Treat and rebuild
One-on-one sessions with a licensed therapist, coordinated with any regenerative or optimization care so each part supports the others.
4. Reassess
We measure progress against the timeline we set and adjust the plan. You’ll always know where you stand and why.
Why patients choose TheraStem for physical therapy
One-on-one with a licensed therapist
Every session is with your therapist, start to finish. No shared gym floor and no tech running the room.
Physician-directed, under one roof
Therapy is coordinated with regenerative medicine, IV and peptide support in one Naples clinic, and aimed at the cause of the problem, so you’re less likely to be back for it in a year.
Built around your goal
Your plan is set by what you’re working toward, not an authorization limit. We finish when you’ve reached it.
FAQ
Questions about physical therapy
What patients usually ask before their first evaluation.
Do I need a referral?
No. Under Florida’s direct-access law, you can be evaluated and start treatment without a physician’s referral. If your condition later calls for physician involvement, we’ll coordinate it.
Do you accept insurance?
We accept traditional Medicare and select PPO plans for physical therapy. We’ll confirm your coverage before we begin and be clear about anything that falls outside it.
Can I do physical therapy without regenerative treatment?
Yes. Physical therapy stands on its own, and many patients start there. If your evaluation suggests you’d benefit from additional support, we’ll tell you and explain why.
How long until I see results?
It depends on the condition, how long you’ve had it and what’s driving it. We’ll give you a realistic timeline at your evaluation and reassess against it as you go.
Do you offer in-home therapy?
No. Physical therapy at TheraStem is done in person at our Naples clinic, 660 Tamiami Trail N, Suite 22.
